A ready-to-use compound for a completely matt finish that is smooth, velvety and pleasant to the touch. The texture has soft tonal transitions.
The composition is plastic and comfortable to use, water-based. It shall be applied with a trowel or spatula in two layers on a paint substrate.
It can be colored in any shade, except for very light or very bright shades. For additional protection, it can be coated with one or two layers of Aqua Varnish or Two-component Matte Varnish.
PREPARATION
- The substrate must be clean, dry and firm. Remove crumbling and flaking old coatings, prepare the surface.
- Apply Primer on plastered, chalky or absorbent surfaces. Use covering primer for previously painted walls, MDFs, chipboards, fiberboards.
- Apply colored undercoat: a layer of decorative paint in the color of the future coating.
- Mix thoroughly with a mixer at low speed before use.
- Do not dilute the compound with water.
APPLICATION
Florentine can be applied in various decorative techniques, the material is versatile in use.
Usually it is applied in two smooth, uniform layers. All layers are applied with a Venetian trowel.
The application temperature should be not lower than +10°С.
The tools should be cleaned with warm water and soap.
When painting surfaces with high operational load, furniture, kitchen fronts, doors, protect with two-component varnish.
COLORING
It is colored MeToo or Monicolor pigments in any colour except pure, snow-white, dark and bright shades. The material can be colored to a sample in an individual shade with the selection of the pigment formula.
We recommend making a test sample to ensure an exact match to the selected shade.
